PCP is a new polyolefin hybrid purging compound that is designed for fast colour and material changes with dramatically less purge material and time compared to standard compounds.
Colour and polymer changes frequently require vast amounts of purge and long downtimes, especially in blow moulding and extrusion lines. Residual colour and contamination can persist far into the next production run.
PCP incorporates surfactants with various engineered cleaning actions to remove carbon and contamination from metal surfaces, allowing for faster, lighter purges across processes. Depending on the process type, PCP can achieve changeovers with far less material and in a fraction of the time typical purges require.
